Shrink44 provides free, browser-based tools for image compression, resizing, format conversion, PDF compression, and OCR (optical character recognition). All processing is client-side — no files are uploaded to any server. The service is provided "as is" with no guarantee of uptime, accuracy, or specific output quality.

3. Permitted Use

• Personal and commercial use of output files is freely permitted.
• You retain full ownership and copyright of all files you process.
• Shrink44 claims no rights over your images, PDFs, or extracted text.
• You may use Shrink44 for business purposes including client work.

4. Prohibited Use

You must not use Shrink44 to process files that are illegal, infringe third-party intellectual property rights, or violate applicable laws in your jurisdiction. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service programmatically.

5. Advertising

Shrink44 is free to use and supported by display advertising via Monetag. By using the service, you consent to the display of advertisements. We do not control the content of third-party advertisements.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Shrink44 is provided without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Any loss, corruption, or reduction in quality of your files
• Inaccuracies in OCR text extraction
• Service downtime or unavailability
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Always keep backups of your original files before processing. The maximum liability of Shrink44 to you for any claim shall not exceed ₦0 (the amount you paid for the service).

7. Privacy

Your use of Shrink44 is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The "last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use after modification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
